Catalytic Converters rarely tend to fail on their own. While OEM models may not withstand the harsh conditions in high performance environments, G-Sport Emissions Systems converters are designed to perform in such applications. That said, if a G-Sport catalytic converter fails, it is usually the result of a component failure in the vehicles emissions control system. Always keep in mind the following:

Ensure exhaust temps never exceed 900 Deg C during tuning process

All Diagnostic Trouble Codes must be retrieved and corrected before converter replacement

Technical Service Bulletins pertaining to vehicle Emissions Control Systems must be observed

Engine cooling, fuel and exhaust systems must be checked for leaks and repaired

Engine oil consumption must be within manufacturers specifications

Engine must be free of internal carbon deposits and be properly maintained

Proper placement of the Catalytic Converter is critical for optimal operation
